Challenge: Create a stunning penthouse oasis overlooking scenic Downtown Dallas.
Solved: It’s hard to imagine that a penthouse with a view like this could stand embellishment, but the owner wanted to avoid the austere sensibility of the other sky-high homes that share this level.
So, why not take the fullest possible advantage of the unique setting by transforming the spacious balcony into something more than a sterile observation deck but, rather, a compact, all-purpose outdoors getaway.
Ensconced in a setting of natural textures, tones, turf, and foliage, the acrylic-framed pool—designed and installed by our sister company, Elemental Acrylic—is accompanied by a wooden deck, planters, curved sunning bed, seating, and fire pit. The curves and angles play well together, turning a spectacular view into an event.
