Can you create a sense of intimacy and cohesion in an outdoor living space that is this big?
Solution
Balance was the key to designing this space. We strategically sited the pool just outside the living room to create impact from inside as you lookout.
And, because Texas sunsets are spectacular and the home faces west, we strategically placed a negative edge on the backside of the pool to maximize the dazzling dance of sunset reflections as the water vanishes over the waterfall.
As it drops, the waterfall pools below to meet the turf on the back half of the yard, leaving ample space for soccer practice and play. The beautiful flower garden, rich with the fragrance of hydrangeas, graces and completes the simple fence line.
