Challenge
The mission was to transform a 30-year-old diving pool, characterized by outdated 45-degree corners, into a contemporary haven within a constrained access space. Our innovative approach included the temporary removal and subsequent reinstatement of a brick wall to facilitate construction.
Solution
We preserved the original pool shell while remodeling the 45-degree corners to achieve a modern silhouette. The pool’s depth was adjusted from diving to playful shallows, complemented by the replacement of old spray decking with acid-etched concrete and synthetic grass accents.
Enhancements included an overhaul of the pool and spa hydraulics, introducing a new spa jet system and computerized controls, alongside the application of authentic Italian glass tile, handcrafted in Italy, for a touch of refined elegance.
