Tokalon Drive
Challenge
Our task was to design a backyard oasis for a distinctive home on White Rock Lake in Dallas, ensuring it mirrors the architectural splendor and personal value the owner places on their residence. The project faced a significant hurdle with limited access due to a mature bamboo forest encircling the property, requiring us to forge an access path through the bamboo for equipment.
Solution
Dedicated to perfection, we meticulously planned each grout joint across the deck, coping, and waterline tile over 12 hours of office coordination with the landscape architect, ensuring flawless alignment with the home’s architecture.
The pool, extending 43 feet by 20 feet, was crafted for both beauty and functionality, featuring a limestone deck and Turtle Bay Pebble Sheen finish. A dark interior pool finish was chosen to harmonize with the natural surroundings.
At the same time, vertical waterline tiles echo the bamboo forest’s elegance, making the pool a seamless extension of the architectural masterpiece.
