Enhance a compact outdoor area in Highland Park, strategically diverting focus from a detached garage to complement a classic Southern/New Orleans-style home adorned with traditional Chicago brick.

Solution

Embracing the home’s architectural essence, we mirrored its material palette in the pool and water features. Adopting a minimalist design, we incorporated synthetic grass and eschewed traditional hardscaping to evoke the intimate ambiance of a New Orleans courtyard. Bronze water fixtures add a touch of elegance, seamlessly blending the old-world charm with modern luxury, creating a serene and cohesive outdoor retreat.
